Happy Father's Day!!!

We love dad. He is an amazing example to us all. He can fix anything, is always calm and we know he loves us.

Now with that said, I must add that dad is very lucky to have all us too:). I think the picture below says it all. Click to enlarge and guess what pictures belong to who.

Ringing in the New Year

We played some great games this evening to ring in the new year. For those of you who have played iMAgiNiff, below is the last question asked (ended the game and 2009)...so fitting:

iMAgiNiff _________ accidentally emitted an unpleasant anti-social noise at a dinner party. What would he do?
  1. Say nothing and blush brightly
  2. Apologize
  3. Laugh and repeat the offense (louder if possible)
  4. Blame the person sitting next to him
  5. Try to re-produce the sound by shifting in his seat
  6. Carry on as if nothing happened
Of course, this question was randomly assigned to ........ yes you guessed it, Bren!!
hahahaha we all just about died laughing...laughing to the point of tears rolling down our faces. What a great way to ring in the new year!

Happy New Year!!!

Happy Chaos

We had a wonderful Christmas and New Years. We played board games, made food, ate food, watched football, played football, basketball and volleyball, took sack lunches to homeless, visited the lights at the Botanical garden. We even got to sled and build two snowmen in our own front yard!

Logs, Trish, Dana and Michelle were all out of school and along with Erin and Ryan were here for 2 weeks. So we started with this family picture:

On Dec 23rd, Robin, Fred, Shaun and Reese came from Kennewick. It's amazing what happens when a group works together. They made good use of the discard from the bathroom remodel.

We had the annual Christmas Eve play: Erin and Ryan as Mary and Joseph and Reese, at 9 mo, was not a very cooperative baby Jesus. Dan was the donkey, of course, and Robin the cow, Shaun and Michelle were sheep, Fred and Trish were shepherds, but only 1 wiseman, Dana, made it! Logan was the camerman.

Imagine our surprise 2 days after Christmas as we're at the church playing full-court bball, when in walk Lani, Scott, Eden, Andrew and Jake! having driven!! from Rapid City, SD!!! in December!!!! Are they nuts??

The Dixon girls minus Elise (we missed you!)
